About

I have been a henna artist for several years, and would love to be a part of your celebration or event.  Services include belly blessings, parties, bridal showers, corporate events, and anything else you can think of.  I only use natural henna with natural oils, lemon juice, and sugar.  If you have any questions, or would like to book me for an event, please contact me.

Q & A

  • What is Henna?

Henna is a plant from the Middle Eastern region,  The leaves have been taken and have been dried and ground into a powder.  To make the paste, it is mixed with essential oils that help release the dye qualities of the plant, sugar, and lemon juice.  I do not use any other ingredients in my henna.

When applied to the skin, the paste is left on for several hours to allow the dye to soak into the skin.  The resulting stain will usually last around 7 days or more, depending on location and how long the paste was left on the skin.  It will fade away after that, until it disappears.
